From Oct. 18th to 22nd, 2007 the FIATA World Congress was held in Dubai. The scale and professionalism of this yearly congress has attracted logistics service providers from 105 countries and regions from all over the world. As the only Chinese exhibitor at this congress, JCtrans Technology Co. Ltd attracted the world’s attention.

This year’s congress agenda covered intermodal, air, and ocean transportation as well as career training, information technology, safety issues, dangerous goods transportation and legal issues. More than 1,500 senior officials and managers from UN, EU, FIATA and global logistics service providing companies attended this meeting. More than 80% of the participants were from Europe and the Middle East, 52% and 30% respectively. This meeting adopted a ‘one to one’ mechanism. “With China’s gradual realization of its promise during entry into WTO, more and more Chinese logistics companies are seeking partners worldwide. At the same time, increasing numbers of global logistics service providers are seeking partners in China. This is the reason for us attending this meeting,” said Mr. Richard Zhang, Director of JCtrans Technology Co. Ltd.

With the development of their business model, the growth of their member database and the fact that they were the media supporter of the 2006 FIATA World Congress in Shanghai all helped JCtrans Technology Co. Ltd to strengthen their cooperation with FIATA. Besides being media supporter for this congress, JCtrans will begin all-round cooperation with FIATA in sharing information, and providing technology support.

In this congress, JCtrans staff distributed a great deal of bags and brochures. According to incomplete statistics, more than 1400 overseas companies visited the JCtrans booth. Through an on-site introduction and demonstration of how to search for agencies and view and post cargo information, the business model won recognition from all the participants.

Mr. Ferreira, who became a member of www.jctrans.net at the congress, expressed his wishes to find well evaluated agencies in China. Though he has considered many other organizations, the rich resources provided by the JCtrans member database deeply impressed him.

Several GCP (Global Credit Pass) members also attended this meeting. Ms. Maggie from Jackson Freight System Ltd told JCtrans happily that she has met with several Middle Eastern companies at the JCtrans booth, and that she thought there was a great potential for them to become partners with her company. Besides that, as a representative of GCP members, she is very satisfied with what JCtrans has done for her company and other GCP member companies.

JCtrans attracted attention from 7 news media groups including Log, which issued a whole page report on JCtrans, expressing their respect for the Chinese company.

Besides the Canton Fair, China Yiwu Commodities Fair, FIATA, and other world-renowned exhibition and conferences, JCtrans will attend more than 750 exhibitions in 2008 to expand their brand and explore business opportunities worldwide.
