The overall mission of Brailcom is intermediation of important information to blind and severely visually impaired.
Right in the consequence of a loss of vision, an immense informational deficit emerges and influences daily life of such impaired people. Our projects aim to help overcome this gap.
Thus the activities of our organization are directed towards creation of manifold material conditions to help overcoming the obstacles on the way of intellectual evolution of a blind human or a human with a serious visual impairment.
One of these obstacles is a difficult accessibility of valuable information that is today simply accessible to people without a vision impairment. This is especially the information that can be used for educating oneself or other forms of self-improvement.
