AZCC primarily focuses on surveying, designing, engineering and implementing management of construction development activities in Afghanistan.
Leadership at AZCC includes a team of expert civil engineers, surveyors, architects administrative and finance(male & female) staff.
In 1990 APA was registered as an authorized counterpart of the United Nations, AZCC has since then turned into an effective and efficient partner to USAID-DFID-FAO-IOM-NAC-CARE-UNAMA-UNDP-UNOPS-UNODC-WFP-PRTUNICEF-UNHCR and other donors.
APA has rendered numerous Relief, Welfare, Social, Humanitarian, Construction, Irrigation, Water Supply, Road Rehabilitation, Agriculture, Emergency Food Supporting Program, Distribution of Food/Non-Food Items, Quick Impact Project, specially Community Mobilization and need Assessment projects in the provinces of Nagarhar Paktia, Paktika, Laghman Wardak, Logar, Parwan, Kapisa, Kabul, Ghazni, Zabul, Kandahar and Mazar-e-Sharif.
In 2005 by the new constitution of Non-Governmental Organizations functioning in Afghanistan it was decided by Afghan Government that NGOs will not be entitled to render construction activities in the country and the
whole responsibility of construction will be given to the Construction Companies.
APA has registered and licensed SCC and later AZCC as its construction companies with AISA (Afghan Investment Support Agency) for providing further construction related services for the revival of Afghanistan.
AZCC is a registered private benefit construction and capacity building firm functioning independently under a valid license number D-28729 issued by Afghan Investment Support Agency (AISA), which has professional and technical staff in different fields of civil engineering including building construction, structural design and architecture, irrigation, water supply & sanitation, road construction, as well as in the areas of budgeting, project cycle management, proper and accurate reporting and documentation, data related issues, and training covering all the areas as mentioned above. Moreover, the firm is equipped with new engineering machinery and technology and all its architectural and engineering designs are executed with computer aid
programs such as, AUTOCAD, VISIO, 3D MAX, SAP 2000, SAFE 2000, MS Project and ETABS 2000.
AZCC has started playing its due role in the construction of Afghanistan by undertaking several construction projects, which are utilized at the same time for learning and capacity building. The firm is advancing in reasonable pace towards the achievements of its goal and objectives.
