    JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company?

    Ali Helal: Gulf Compass is a group of companies that founded in 2012 with Gulf Compass Services and Gulf Compass Assist to offer high-quality services that match both efficiency and safety. We have become a one-stop-shop offering courier, cargo, trucking, air freight, sea freight, import express from anywhere in the world, full or part container load, chartering of aircraft, etc. Gulf Compass is registered in Bahrain. We have associations with the world's leading courier companies enabling us to provide high standards of service at a reasonable rate. Gulf Compass is a professionally managed organization with clearly defined areas of function and responsibility. The personnel occupying managerial positions have years of field experience and know the intricacies of the courier industry and sensitivity attached to our client's goods. We strive to provide the most effective Express, Logistics and Freight solutions coupled with the best industry practices while ensuring compliance at every level, value for money, quality and the least possible lead times with continuous improvement to focus on customer requirements.

    JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?

    Ali Helal: We have our own vehicles to provide international transportation at low cost. We have bounded warehouse facility and we can storage DG goods in our warehouse. Also we can store goods in warehouse and customs clearance we can done later when the customer required delivery. We are working on mall delivery also. Tail lift facility we have in our trucks. SO it helps fast loading and offloading. Our team follows and update customers each and every progress.

    JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

    Ali Helal: Experienced staffs, good relation with customers and organizing all jobs in a timely manner, Contact with customers and give up to date status, Support the customers in documentation, customs duty & VAT payments. Overall customer’s satisfaction is important to continue business with them.     

    JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

    Ali Helal: Our country, Bahrain, is very small compared to other countries. So there a scope for international deliveries compared to local deliveries. Here only some companies have all facilities, other companies hiring and provide high cost services. Bahrain companies are looking for good logistic relation with other GCC countries.

    JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?

    Ali Helal: We are member in logistic networks WCA and JC trans. We hope we can explore our company in foreign market and get more business through this network and make a good will in the market. 

    JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?

    Ali Helal: To develop business world must know our company and our sevices. In JC trans network there is a lot of GCP and non-GCP members. We can contact any company through this network and cooperate with trust. So the world comes to know about us.

    JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients?

    Ali Helal: We are providing our best service to our customers. We have good experienced team to organize and complete all jobs in a timely manner. We are explaining everything at the beginning what we required from customer’s side to do fast and proper way. We are maintaining long-term relationship by ensuring fast and proper work.
