JCTRANS: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company? Cici: Red Sea National Shipping Co. Ltd, popularly known as "RESCO", established in November,2008 in Hodeidah, Yemen. It is an affiliate of Yemen's largest conglomerate HayelSaeedAnam Group of Companies. We have a professional and experienced team, which can provide you the best service. After all these years, in 2014,a branch company of RESCO was established in Shenzhen, China. Cooperating with the famous companies all over the world, we have a professional and experienced team, which can provide you the best service. JCTRANS: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness? Cici: I think our core-competitiveness is the big volume shipments which from China to Yemen. As I mentioned in above company introduction, our headquarter is in Hodeidah Yemen,ya, it’s a country in a war , but don’t forget that we belongs to the most powerful group : HAS. It’s a very big, famous and strong company in Yemen, its CEO is a senator of Yemen, so it has a good reputation there and our group have many many factories and companies which involved many fields, like: food, textile, electronic products, building materials, medical machines, shipping companies and so on , they are spread all over the world. You know, Yemen is a small country, so they need to import various products from China and many other countries, and our HSA GROUP imports about 20,000 TEUS per year, the majority from Far East & South East Asia countries. For sure, due the influence of the war, the volume is going down, but , people there still need daily articles, factories there still need materials…and I believe that , the war will be end very soon, at that time, the volume will raise quickly and recover day by day. JCTRANS: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company? Cici: I think the most important thing to run a logistics company is customer service, you know , nowadays, there are so many logistics companies, all over the world, competition is so intense. Maybe somebody will think that : lowest rate is the most important strategy to win the business, but for me , not like that. Just think about it: if you got a very low rate to ship the shipments, after the vesselsailed, if there comes some problems, when you contact them, but nobody reply, or feedback comes very late , or pass your problem to another colleague … just like playing a ball and can no solve your problem on time !! In this situation , how do you feel ? Angry ? Upset ? And what do you think about this forwarder ? Will you come back to it next time ? So, if we don’t have good customer service, we will lose customers. We have to try our best to follow up the shipments, take it very seriously about any feedback from customers. Try best to assist customers to solve his problems, give them the best service at any time , I believe they will come back to us next time even our rate is not lowest but our service must be the best ! JCTRANS: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country? Cici: Well, in China, you know there are too many logistic companies, not only sea, but also air and express companies. Of cause the competition is very intense , and more and more logistic companies start to find a way to enlarge the business and establish their branches in many other cities , even other countries. Anyway, logistic industry will never fall down, we just keep moving. JCTRANS: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market? Cici: Regarding to explore foreign market, I think , due to the situation of our company, I have to do it step by step. Firstly ,we have to build up a good relationship with more foreign agents, we can share the resource, exchange the market information, we can connect together by this way. And secondly, we have to develop more foreign customers, I mean direct customers, consignee, not agents. In this way, we can make more profits and accumulate our own resource and experience.
