RYAN LEI WEI MING: FR Freight was established in year 2014 with the goals of providing its clients with an A-Z solution for all their forwarding and logistic needs. In line with our tagline “Borderless Asean Logistics Provider”, it has become a core mission for FR Freight to provide assistance and support to its clients in relation to all their global sourcing and supply chain management needs.

Vision: To become the top logistics specialist in ASEAN and establish a healthy work culture by creating an environment where our people can learn, grow and succeed together

RYAN LEI WEI MING: Operating with young and passionate highly trained staff who can response promptly on any inquiries or problems with the best efficiency, supported by a Management Team who has been in the industry for more than 20 years.

We hope to leverage our services, technologies and expertise in order to provide our clients with worry-free logistics experience at a world-class service. JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

RYAN LEI WEI MING: At this exact moment in time, the whole world is facing disruption in the freight industry due to the Covid-19 Epidemic. These unprecedented times are allowing us to adapt and cater to the different challenges we are currently facing. Shipments are still moving and we are all pulling together to ensure that the ‘wheels of industry’ keep turning.

Malaysia currently was in Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), We are fortunate that our Malaysian base Logistics association is doing a great job of constantly communicated with Malaysia government on the needs of the industry. we think it is a time where we need to unite in order to survive the harsh economic fluctuations and competition.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?

RYAN LEI WEI MING: As our global industry constantly changes especially during this pandemic Covid-19, FR Freight continues to anticipate and adapt to these changes. We are not hesitant to innovate and learn new markets and develop mutually with our freight partners, meanwhile provide our high quality of service to maintaining clients, improve all the company systems and operations to optimize performance with every customer, and monitor every move of shipment. We do believe we have more work to do in providing information to customers nor agent and advise them as agents bridging the gap between customers and the rest of the world. 

JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?

RYAN LEI WEI MING: The main reason why we decided to be a GCP member is the Financial Protection which is not only for our safety but also protect our business partners from JCtrans.

The other reasons are credibility for partners and special marketing promotion for GCP members such as mass-mailing, social media promotion, and others.

The last thing is we are appreciated for having great support from GCP team.

JCtrans: What did your company do to fight against COVID-19 in this special time?

RYAN LEI WEI MING: FR Freight always cares about the safety & health of our employees, especially during this pandemic Covid-19, we always commit SOP set by our government and our office did arrange for full disinfection and sanitization to maintain the health of employees.

FR Freight does also donates medical equipment to support Malaysian frontline medical staff.
