    Questions: JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company? Glen Warnock: Our company Emerald Freight Express is one of the top leading Independent Freight Forwarders in Ireland, established in 1981 - the company has 37 years in business. We serve Dublin – Cork – Shannon & Belfast with a full range of multi modal transportation solutions. Our Team consists of 24 dedicated logistics professionals. JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness? Glen Warnock: As CEO, I believe that it’s my customer focused team that provides Emerald with the competitive edge over other forwarders. The Emerald team are highly qualified logistics professionals that live by our company ethos which includes: 1. Leadership by Example 2. Our Reputation is Key 3. Accountability 4. People Passion Performance 5. To go above and Beyond Our Customers’ Expectations. JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company? Glen Warnock: You need to be energetic, contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and for sure you got to love what you do. JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country? Glen Warnock: Although Ireland is a small Island we our blessed to have some fantastic Import & Export sectors, such as Pharma, Aerospace, Manufacturing and Agri Food. On the Import side we as most countries enjoy the trade from Asia, USA and Europe not to forget about our close neighbours the United Kingdom. Business and trade in Ireland is very good at the moment and on the increase. JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market? Glen Warnock: Our strategy is to develop relationships with oversea partners, we do this through JC Trans and a few other networks, these partnerships enable us to share sales leads and target new business which is beneficial to both parties. JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business? Glen Warnock: We became a GCP member to enable us to have full access to the JC Trans global network and payment protection. JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients? Glen Warnock: We maintain long-term relationships with our clients by providing a value added service, responding quickly to their concerns and gaining knowledge about their business. My team and I believe in building relationships and through that comes trust.
