Kevin Addison: Cargo Line is an Independent Australia Owned Freight Forwarder, Customs Brokerage and 3PL Provider, with our own offices in all Major Cities. JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness? Kevin Addison: We treat our Overseas Partners as our most valued Customers and have dedicated staff to servicing this business vertical. We realise that your sales staff need immediate and accurate answers to ensure that they stand the best chance of winning the business in such a competitive market. JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company? Kevin Addison: We invest heavily in our staff as our greatest asset as we believe that happy and content staff translate into happy Agents and Customers. JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country? Kevin Addison: Australia economy is very robust with a good mix of reliance on Natural Resource exports as well as FMCG Imports. The AUD is fairly strong currency that allows a consistent cost base to be achieved for our Importers. Terms of Trade are changing over the past few years into a more DAP/DDP market driven by competiveness in the International Freight Arena and the ease of allowing suppliers to arrange the shipments delivered into their care. JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market? Kevin Addison: We have a reliance on China Market as our largest trading partner and represents a little over 30% of Cargo Lines Imports. We want to continue to keep our eye on China but at the same time reduce by % its share in our business by promoting growth in other Trade Lanes outside of China. JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business? Kevin Addison: Financial Protection is very important to any business working in International Freight and JC Trans Manages this particular Network very well with very little issues between GCP and even non-GCP members. JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients? Kevin Addison: We believe in regular face to face meetings with our overseas partners are key to developing a working friendship with our agents. It adds a personable and dependable approach to the business. We do this through regular attendance of Conferences as well as standalone trips
