A new phase in the further world-wide development of Ecuhold and Allcargo Global Logistics was celebrated on Friday, September 15th 2006 at the Bourla Theatre in Antwerp. At this occasion the new shareholders of the company were formally introduced to all Belgian, Indian and International guests who attended the event. Raymond Van Achteren and Shashi Shetty each gave their view on the recent association and the bright future outlook for the company. Keynote speaker Marc Van den Abeele, an honourable member of the Flemish Parliament spoke with enthusiasm about milestones and achievements of the Belgian-Indian Cooperation. The program also contained a moving video-compilation about the history of Ecu-Line and a recently made video report on Mumbai and the Allcargo operations in India. An aerial acrobat gave a breathtaking performance, floating above the stage by her own force and a Belgian ballerina proved that excellence in Indian dancing can also be achieved outside its country of origin. Jean Bosco Safari, a Belgian-African R&B singer and Siddharth Kishna, a Dutch-Indian Sitar player brought their music and musicians together in a unique performance and married the beats of Indian tabla and African drum in “communicating sounds of the world.” It was a magnificent evening with artists, music and celebrities in the unforgettable setting of the famous “Bourla Theatre” in Antwerp. The ambience of the After Party held at the “Foyer” of the theatre was great. Excellent wine, authentic Belgian Beer, delicious food and delicacies, enjoyable people and lots of merriment made this an evening to remember.

A new warehouse measuring 18,000 square metres will shortly open its doors in Le Havre, together with a two-hectare container park.
