    Jctrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company?

    Oliver Foessleitner: Seabridge is a classic freight forwarding company in operation since 1981 and with a strong focus on the international overseas transport between Asia and Europe

    Jctrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?

    Oliver Foessleitner: A service orientated sales and operations team with a very good knowledge of our core markets and with a clear focus to provide clients with solutions that benefit them.

    Jctrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

    Oliver Foessleitner: Integrity, Sincerity and being trustworthy – what we sell is nothing that you can touch but something you need to be able to trust into as we take a key responsibility for the making our clients business happen.

    Jctrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

    Oliver Foessleitner: It is certainly highly competitive market and many of the key international logistics players consider Germany their home market. That alone forces us to improve on a daily basis and seek new solutions for our clients as best as we can.

    Jctrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?

    Oliver Foessleitner: Exploring a new market area requires a reason and that is often provided by our clients requesting to perform in new regions and markets as their business develops. Rather than trying to open an own office we try to identify a suitable cooperation partner in the region to support us in delivering what our customer wants.

    Often enough it also happens the other way round and we are contacted to help a overseas agent to deliver a service for his clients in our home market and it is our goal to help that partner being successful.

    Out of such contact often enough a mutual business develops over time.

    Jctrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?

    Oliver Foessleitner: Well, we were contacted by Jctrans to see if we were interested to join and provide their network with further support in services in our home markets Germany and the Czech Republic. At the same time the JC Trans network covers a wide range of countries and has an excellent membership and in our view ranges as such under the top ten networks in the world.

    Jctrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients?

    Oliver Foessleitner: Usually we manage this by being open, transparent and fair and not promising more than what we can deliver and where possible trying to go the extra mile to make the client happy.

    We certainly do not have the absolute lowest price in the market but those clients working with us, know that we are worth the money they pay.
