    JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company? Frederick Leung : Established is 1979, G.E. Forwarders Ltd/ G.E. Logistics Inc is a Canadian Freight Forwarders with a Customs Bonded Warehouse (53,000sq.ft). We are one of the few freight forwarders that operate our own warehouse and therefore have the ability to handle in-bond freight, CFS deconsolidations, Airline transfers along with 3PL distribution services. JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness? Frederick Leung : Our industry is based on communication and experience, both of which will lead to a smooth transition of freight and satisfaction to the client. Our team has 40years of experience and is more than equipped to ensure that transparent information is passed along our partners to avoid potential and possibly unexpected costs along with a timely delivery of the freight. Moreover, being an asset-based company, we’re able to utilize our own staff, warehouse & trucks to ensure the freight moves efficient in order to keep costs down. JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country? Frederick Leung : The Canadian retail market has changed significantly as Ecommerce and other web retailers have started to dominate the market and the traditional brick and mortar stores are becoming obsolete. We find that a lot of importers are now relying on warehouses like ours to become their distribution hub while they operate a low cost website to sell their products. Through integration and fulfillment objectives, we’re able to assist our clients grow their Canadian & North American presence simply by removing the costs of hosting a retail outlet and allowing them to focus on selling their products. JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market? Frederick Leung : Joining associations like JC Trans to allow us a platform to introduce & communicate with other agents around the world to service their clients for freight to & from Canada as well as allowing our local clients access to global markets. JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business? Frederick Leung : The primary goal of joining JC Trans is to allow ourselves to have a greater opportunity to serve our clients worldwide and there are many remote and also popular origins/ destinations. Being part of an alliance like JC Trans that protects the best interests of it’s members make it easier to cooperate without reservation. JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients? Frederick Leung : Some clients have been with G.E. since inception and therefore have been with us almost 40yrs– this success is based on a transparent and open communication so ensure we what our for the best interest of our clients & partner agents.
