    JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company? ROWENA B. YBANEZ: TNL EXPRESS WORLDWIDE CORP. is 7 years old freight forwarding company in the Philippines; Incorporated and went operation in 2011, complete, fully operational and licensed Domestic and International Air and Sea freight forwarder and Customs Brokerage service provider. TNL EXPRESS has 35 employees, with branch /offices /hub in Manila, Subic, Davao, Gensan, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro. TNL EXPRESS is founded on Respect, Integrity and Honesty; dedicated ourselves to serve our customers and partners excellent logistics cargo services and geared towards exceeding customer satisfaction. JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness? ROWENA B. YBANEZ: TNL Express core-competitiveness is our management knowledge and expertise of fundamentals of International Trade and Logistics. TNL has strong sales and business development team working on import and export industries. And our operation people are equipped with licenses, training and technical know-how of cargo logistics services. TNL EXPRESS gives highest priority to the quality of our services. We have set up standards, processes and best practices which sets TNL apart in our industry. JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company? ROWENA B. YBANEZ: I think the most important thing to run a logistics company is that the business owner must be vested with expertise of a sales person, a customer service, an operation and accounting in one. He/she must be able to withstand changes and adversity. He/she must be resilient with ability to take risk in decision making. JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country? ROWENA B. YBANEZ: As of this time, logistics industry in the Philippines is very stable with conservative increase in revenue due to in-flow of imports as a result of continues construction and development. Continuous and new development of infrastruction and transport services is being of the present government is. JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market? ROWENA B. YBANEZ: Joining and attending conferences is a good starting line for new freight forwarder to explore foreign market. However, the forwarder must have its own business and should not rely on the partner. Meaning, it require mutual cooperation not one-way thing. JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business? ROWENA B. YBANEZ: For TNL EXPRESS, being a GCP member gives us an advantage being a priority agent to handle inquiries from within and outside JC Trans network. There is a sense of being a reliable partner if you become one too. JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients? ROWENA B. YBANEZ: TNL Express inculcate the culture that Customer is Not our Boss, they are our Friends and so with our partners. We instill in our team the spirit of mutual cooperation.
