JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company?

Clevin Correya: Octagon Freight Services has the experience in complex logistical challenges you are looking for and can help you analyze important project requirements.
Specializing in project moves to war zone countries like Afghanistan and Iraq, moving heavy equipment for construction and oil projects. Have delivered earth moving equipment, complete oil rigs, armored cars on car carriers, as well as out of gauge cargo like industrial tanks and allied equipment.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?

Clevin Correya: OFS offers the best and most efficient way possible to meet your sea cargo criteria, whether it be containers, Ro-Ro, Break bulk, flat racks, project cargo etc., import/export. We can handle ocean & air shipments, both inbound and outbound, to virtually all-important destinations. Inbound/outbound/cross trade freight destinations include the G.C.C. Countries, Middle East, Africa, Europe and USA.

With team of professionals having experience in Freight forwarding and offices in Erbil and Dubai, we strive to serve our customers and offer them a one stop solution for their logistics and procurement requirements.

JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

Clevin Correya: Efficient way of handling shipments, good buying power, complete know how of operational process, awareness of market situation. Continuous improvement and customer centric approach

JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

Clevin Correya: Dubai, Jebel Ali is a hub for the trade within the middle east, however the recent situation due to COVID 19 has had an impact on the logistics industries. There are challenging scenarios and scope to explore and provide solutions to customers needing logistics services. With 30% of work force it does slow down the normal working process.
JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?

Clevin Correya: Tying up with an aggressive partner, focusing the sales force on the specific route and look for leads on projects/  trade specific information and develop the trade lane.

JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?

Clevin Correya: GCP is a vast network and our motive is to be known to a larger base of forwarders and grow business for mutual benefit

JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients?

Clevin Correya: With our customer centric approach, we ensure to deliver as per customers expectation. Our strategy is to be their partner not just service providers. With regular process reviews and KPI managements we measure customer satisfaction and improve continuously.
