JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company?

BENELLY OCHIENG: Benfi Global logistics is a local registered with regional access in the east African region across the 7 states, our headquarters are in Kenya, over the years, we have grown rapidly to be an efficient and reliable forwarder partner to our clients, with our tailor made services delivery to take care our client individual needs, we strive to offer solutions and our regional coverage and worldwide partners enable us to offer a seamless one stop solutions to our client’s needs. Our services portfolio include: air freight sea freight, exports, import warehousing, transport and distribution, IOR shipments, Product trading, removals, cold room storages, pet handling and Perishable handing.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?

BENELLY OCHIENG: At Benfi global we listen to our client needs, by listening to them we are able to clearly understand their problems/challenges, needs and expectation from this understanding we are able to come up with a solutions , tailor made specifically for them and through this we will not only be solving the problem challenge but will meet their expectation , save them money and more importantly give them a competitive edge against their whether they are a big multinational or a new start up they can be rest assured that we have their back.

JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

BENELLY OCHIENG: The most important thing is the understanding of the freight industry, how rapidly things changes, the dynamics of all the stake holders like government fiscal policies and the geo political matters, once you are able to understand this you are able to ensure you comply if need be adopt.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

BENELLY OCHIENG: The industry in Kenya is very dynamic, very competitive from the established companies and also weak regulations give room for scammers and non-professional individuals to work in the industry.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?

BENELLY OCHIENG: Working with local clients and international partners in sourcing new markets and two giving those discounted rates and extending credit terms from this new markets to make them more lucrative and attractive.

JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?

BENELLY OCHIENG: The peace of mind knowing that am working with a reliable vetted partner, who is financially sound.

JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients?

BENELLY OCHIENG: Keeping them happy, Prospers communication exceeding their expectations, saving them money and always more important is never getting complacent, but always improve your services, seeking clients feedback
