    JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company?

    Alice Kim: Ranur is a freight forwarder, customs broker and domestic transportation company with offices in the main ports and airports in USA and Brazil.

    Established in 1996, Ranur has grown steadily over the years, developing competences in the logistics field and a network of partners that allows the company to offer solutions for all types of transportation all over the world.

    Ranur serves international companies from several industries, including High Tech, Telecom, Automotive and Garment.

    We can offer air and ocean transportation for imports and exports, customs brokerage for general shipments and also special projects, domestic road and air transportation covering the whole country.

    JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?

    Alice Kim: Ranur offers quality, security and agility to its clients and lives by its motto: We proudly serve you!

    JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

    Alice Kim: As a logistics company, we are offering to our customers quality service, and in order to guarantee this quality it is very important that each of our employees keep in mind the commitment to the responsibility we have with our customers.

    JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

    Alice Kim: As has been happening all over the world, we are recovering the economy after the crisis due to the pandemic, and now we face some problems of space and increasing rates. But we realize that it is returning to normal and bringing new business opportunities, where we have even noticed an increase in volume in some of our markets.

    JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?

    Alice Kim: We are always looking for new opportunities to grow our business, such as new markets, routes and niches. Always remembering that we need to respect the customs and culture of our customers and partners abroad, and helping them to open a door for them in the US market.

    JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?

    Alice Kim: Our office in Brazil was already a member of the GCP, and we realized that the members of this network are very active and also reliable, and we are very happy with the members that we work together in developing new accounts.

    JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients?

    Alice Kim: It is very important to maintain the trust that our customers and partners place in us, so we always seek the best cost and quality in service to them.
