We checked the destination agents sent East & West Express for Int'l Shipping an email asking how much to collect from the consignee and were advised by East & West Express for Int'l Shipping to collect $500.00 per container they did so and this was the freight collect amount that the destination agent had to pay to the Shipping Line. We have dealt with East & West Express for Int'l Shipping on another case were they tried to use provide excuses that end up proving to be false on several occasions.,Case 2 - Debt Amount 3500.00 USD,Debt(s) incurred from January 2013,Planet Logistics Network was notified by FDB about this case and provided this network with copies of emails promising to pay $700 per month but never did pay anything. We notified them in an attempt to help them protect their networks members from also being stuck with a bad debt from EAST & WEST EXPRESS International Transport. On March 27, 2014 we received the following response.,According to our President, Mr Ron Tay, we will monitor closely on all the dealing of East West Express with our members in PLN., , We here at FDB sincerely hope that none of the Planet Logistic Network Members are financially harmed by their fellow member after PLN was notified of the history of EAST & WEST EXPRESS International Transport. , , Original debt in 2012 ($7000.00) was due for demurrage incurred for a shipment between debtor and another GLN Network member. GLN negotiated for both parties in this problem to pay 50% each, and agreed to pay $3500.00 on behalf of East & West as a loan to be repaid by East & West. ,Debtor promised to make payment of $3,500 to Global Logistics Network in January 2013 payment was not received. ,,Debtor (Mohamed) promised to start paying at $700 per month beginning August 2013. Finally in November 2013 the debtor responded and agreed to the suggested payment plan. ,,Mohamed of East & West Express for Int'l Shipping has made numerous promises but has never kept a single promise to date that we know of. ,,Total Debt Amount for 2 Case(s) = 3,585.00 USD
