    Yantian International Terminal Will Suspend the Service of Receiving Export Heavy Containers

    The Yantian international terminal will stop receiving export heavy containers for 7 days from 0 o’clock on February 9th.

    Due to the influence of the Spring Festival holiday, the factory delivered the goods in advance. The storage density of Yantian port wharves was nearly the limit, and the places that could pile boxes were almost full.

    Shenzhen Yantian International (YICT) urgently announces:

     

    The terminal will stop receiving export heavy containers for 7 days from 0 o’clock on February 9th.

     

    The official announcement and detailed arrangements are as follows:

    Dear customers,

     

    The traditional rush peak before the Spring Festival and the strong export, export heavy containers in the wharves overdue storage, trailer delivery and delivery work volume soared, wharves operation is extremely busy.Yantian International Terminal has devoted all its resources to handle all incoming trailer operations.In order to ensure smooth traffic outside the port, reduce the impact of surrounding residents and alleviate the congestion of municipal roads, the Yantian International Terminal will suspend the service of receiving heavy containers for export for 7 days from 0 oclock on February 9th.


    Specific arrangements are as follows:


    1. On February 9th, the receiving of heavy containers after February 16th will be suspended;


    2. The receiving of heavy containers after February 17 will be suspended on February 10;


    3. The receiving of heavy containers after February 18th will be suspended on February 11th.


    This measure will be temporary for three days and normal services will be maintained on 12 February.Freight forwarders please pay attention the update information.
