    JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company?

    L.Justo Marmol: Translog Overseas is a growing company providing fully integrated freight forwarding, total logistic services and custom brokerage, serving the best solutions for the ocean freight needs.

    With offices at the Ports and headquarters at Madrid, Translog Overseas is a registered IATA agent, which enables us to offer the most competitive pricing from all airlines.

    JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?

    L.Justo Marmol: We have 4 divisions that works like 4 companies, supported by Our High trained Air Freight and Ocean Freight Team:

    a.- Ecommerce.

    b.- Time Critical (mainly for the automobile industry)

    c.- Perishables.

    d.- Pharma / Health Care department.

    JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

    L.Justo Marmol: Having good Products. And Better team.

    JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

    L.Justo Marmol: The Logistic industry in Spain is doing very good because several reasons :

    a.- We are an essential industry that has been supported the country and people during the locked down and now.

    b.- The market prefers a medium or small size logistic supplier instead of a huge company like DSV or Khune & Nagel. We provide a quality service (and many times with the same rates or better) that they are not able to provide it.

    For a Manager, every time there is a problem, there is at least one opportunity.  For example, when the locked down took place in Europe we started shipping charters from China to Spain shipping PPEs to Spain, to Portugal and to Latin American countries using Madrid as transhipment airport hub. It is important to mention that Madrid and Barcelona always have been transhipment airports to Latin America countries.

    However, I have to say that the AF industry in Spain is doing worst because of the lack of options of flights to most of the destinations.

    JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?

    L.Justo Marmol: My strategy to explore foreign markets are :

    a.- Being part of a top Networking groups like Jctrans.

    b.- Having people with native languages (or at least that they speak), of the foreign markets. Our company looks like United Nations.

    c.- Test and check what the other market is demanding in relationship with Spain.

    JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?

    L.Justo Marmol: First of all, I have to say that China is our main market, and secondly it is very important to be part of a top network in China that brings the possibility to work between audited and serious companies with a payment protection program.

    JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients?

    L.Justo Marmol: Giving an excellent service. This is the way to maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with our client.
