JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company?
EMMANUEL SANTILLANA MENIL: Established during the year 1996, PRO-MS FORWARDING SERVICES, INC. is a customs brokerage and freight forwarding that has both warehousing and trucking delivery capabilities located in the Philippines. For over 20 years, we shape the world of logistics with a strong determination to connect people and goods through innovative and sustainable logistics solutions. Our employees are fully trained and experience to handle variety of cargo, including hazardous, oversize, full container, less than container load, import and export. We accept any type of international commercial terms for negotiation purposes. We can also find suppliers for you if you need any products here in the Philippines to be imported or exported in your country of choice or your country. Everyday, our employees work to help you cross the borders and meet your needs. JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?
EMMANUEL SANTILLANA MENIL: We at PRO-MS FORWARDING SERVICES, INC. have four main core-competitiveness as follows:
Sourcing – as mentioned in the introduction we can find you better suppliers for your product or parts and components of your product with the best value proposition in terms of reliability, quality, quantity and cost, of course with choices to choose from.
Shipping – we have established good relationship with a lot of transport providers for more than 20 years and arrange or organize any load unit in accordance to the distribution requirements or as per your specifications.
Warehousing – we can help you with any warehousing services or requirements you might have, if you need to begin a new warehouse or transfer to a new one, we can also help you get people to work with us to work for you in the warehouse and establish warehousing management.
Routing – we can give you are best rates with the easiest booking schedule with the sequence of ports and distribution centers whether it is an air freight or a sea freight. And help you plan your project cargo or any loss cargo you need and have.

 

JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?
EMMANUEL SANTILLANA MENIL: For us at PRO-MS FORWARDING SERVICES, INC. The focus of our business is to provide the needs, meet the expectations of our customers and deliver as promised with complete transparency with our customers to be able to build trust and establish a long and lasting relationship.


JCtrans:  Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?
EMMANUEL SANTILLANA MENIL: Before the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Philippines' logistics and warehousing market was thriving. The logistics industry was forecasted to grow at a rate of 8.2% to 8.8% for the period 2018 – 2024 and was projected to be a Php 970 billion to Php 1 trillion market by 2023 as reported in the inquirer newspaper. These days the importation of medical supplies, medical equipment and medicines such as the COVID-19 vaccine is very in demand and popular in our country that is why we got used to importing medical related goods nowadays and is what comprises the 50% of our weekly shipment.


JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?
EMMANUEL SANTILLANA MENIL: For us at PRO-MS FORWARDING SERVICES, INC. no market is too domestic and no market is too foreign for us market is market and we penetrate it, it  does not have any difference we see no color and no race because in our company we enjoy payment protection as a GCP member at JCTrans which means when you pay us good we repay you with good services, no matter who you are and where you are from as long as you are a GCP member at JCTrans or is recommended by JCTrans and here in our company we believe that everywhere you work at you work in sales because you always work to sell yourself.
