    Mark Gurrea: XPO Global Forwarding Spain is a freight forwarding & Customs broker specialized in local and international ships goods of all sizes and weights anywhere in the world.     JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?
    Mark Gurrea: Low air freight cargo capacity.
    The increase in the global demand for containers due to increased supply of cargo.
    The control of the offer of the supply of space on vessels, from the point of view of blank sailings, as well as by changes in rotations of vessel capacity for routes where freight rates are much higher.
    The shortage of empty equipment of 20’ dv & 40' ¨dv due to the imbalance created by the fact that the shipping lines are not able to replace them at source at the necessary market demand.
    Sudden increases in cargo volumes as because of different "shutdowns" and "lockdowns" around the world (Covid, Suez Channel…).
    The containers that are expiring the life validity and they are not replaced.
    And much more.


    JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?
    Mark Gurrea: Analysing the economic landscape to determining whether the time, place and international partner to work with are right for our new potential business. 
    What we need to do is take a reality check. No matter how brilliant the project might be, it’s not going to pan out if you’re not in the right market. Conduct a careful examination of our partner and market to analyse if we should invest, travel, sell and proceed, then by all means, move forward until you reach your mutual objectives.
    Invest and gain expertise focused in establishing the partnership as a thought leader.
    Look for payment methods that will provide convenience for your customers and cost-effectiveness for the business.
