JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company?

Christoph van Herck: BeCargo is a reputable Customs Agency with all extra services. We provide all services related to E-commerce & general cargo. We can accept all types of cargo suitable for every company B2C, B2B and FBA:

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?

Christoph van Herck: With our own dedicated H7/IOSS system, our own BEGATE system, we have solutions for all types of Customs inquiries. We have our own web application, so all our clients can follow up their shipments from shipping until delivery. We are open 24 hours, 7 days a week. We have native Chinese, French, Dutch, Italian, Russian speakers in our team, we can provide everything needed for a smooth, fast handling and strong communication.

 

JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?
Christoph van Herck: Logistics is about meeting customers’ demands with the right product at the right time, place, price, quantity and in the right condition. Plan ahead, be equipped with a performing information system, be well financed… If I have to use one word to describe the most important thing to run a logistics company, it would be: Efficiency.

 

JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

Christoph van Herck: Ideally located at the heart of Europe, Belgium, especially LGG Airport, is the perfect logistics base for the European markets with highly developed air, sea, rail, and last but not least road infrastructure, highly skillful workforce and digital performances.  
Around us, Germany, France, Holland, UK etc are all our nearby neighbors.
Customs of LGG Airport is the most developed Customs in Europe for dealing with E-Commerce.

 

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?
Christoph van Herck: A good market study and market understanding by our market researchers are necessary steps to start with. Our logistics operating officers are involved directly in the early stage in our service feasibility studies and offers, thus we can perform almost directly when a new foreign market is on board. 
Besides, in order to guarantee a smooth functioning, a sound finance, a team of skillful and multi-lingual work staff are all essential guarantees for us to explore a foreign market.

 

JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?
