JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company?

Ali AK: Talos Logistics is a“boutique”Freight Forwarder which is located in Istanbul, Turkey. We also do have a branch office in Kazakhistan. We aim to provide quality service of logistics with providing different modes of services such as Seafreight , Airfreight, Landfreight and Railway Transportation. Member of 3 different Networks and have strong partnerships in most countries.

 

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?

Ali AK: Fast response and close follow up in every business of our customers and agent worldwide
Well trained staff to provide 24/7 service and represent all of our partners in the best way. All kind of logistics support with our 22 years experience.

 

JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

Ali AK: The most important idea running a good service is to walk in your customers shoes. Flexibility and especially showing empathy in these last 2 years of pandemic has been a priority to do the business in the best way. Also upgrading technology is so much important for us so we have our own Software which allows us to record all our business also send daily track &tracing reports to all related parties.

 

JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

Ali AK: It is much more better since a few months in providing empty containers but nowadays liners have problems with providing space on the vessels or do so much delays on the booked vessels. On the other hand the fuel oil has increased too much nowadays and also goes on increasing daily which effects the offered prices from today to tomorrow but we are doing whatever has to be done to avoid our customers suffering of this daily changes.

 

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?

Ali AK: The main strategy of ours is to join reliable networks and be in touch with the agents by emailing and also having online meetings. We do have at least 6 online meetings every week to know our partners better and to make them understand our vision to make them let us represent them in Turkey.

 

JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?
Ali AK: Financial protection is the main reason that also gain trust from agents to use our service. This helps us to expand our business globally through JCTrans platform.

 

JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients?

Ali AK: We value the relationships we have established with our clients and partners. We work hard to make our clients have a 5 star service and timely updates. Providing such levels of service has earned Talos Logistics a wonderful reputation in the logistics industry.
