JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?
Rezaul Karim: In order to ensure quality personalized services to the customers – we are a bit flexible & where necessary, can work with customers nominated agents if they guarantee on time payment to us and ensure Bank Release when the consignment(s) by Air or Ocean is consigned to Bank. Today we have realized that the global success is very difficult without local experts. We need local culture & language to serve a foreign customer better.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?
Rezaul Karim: tli is most committed & responsible logistics service providers in Bangladesh. The important constant factor in this industry for success is to have dependable business partners & associates globally that trust each other above relatives or friends. tli has made it possible forging links among customers, carriers & it's global partners over 100 countries.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?
Rezaul Karim: In early 1990’s we were thinking of developing our own worldwide network and formed trans logistics network through purchase, JV with locals, acquisitions, etc in the year 1998. But the result of such network was not really up to a satisfaction level neither by ourselves nor by the customers and lately we have demolish our own network and participated a global network having over 100 independent strong members – offer a complete reliable logistic solutions for export & import anywhere in the globe.

JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?
Rezaul Karim: GCP Community is a network of global logistics companies and reliable partnership and growing business in logistics industry they create independent freight forwarders for building strong relationship in worldwide. So, we are eager to join the global network.

JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients?
Rezaul Karim: We are committed our service and payment as we handle from very beginning with our foreign and local customer and TLI is one of the agent no one clam for payment.
