    JCtrans:Would you please make a brief introduction of your company? Anthony Chehwan:Our Company is a new comer to the market of freight forwarding, but was initially formed from the clearance agency of Mefleh Mefleh that was in the logistics market for over 30 years. We specialize in Freight forwarding, Clearance and transportation throughout the world JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness? Anthony Chehwan:Our Core competitiveness is based on our employees that have been in the market for around 15 years each with his and hers unique set of skills, which allow them to tackle any obstacle in their way. JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company? Anthony Chehwan:Having a trustworthy and good relationships with your worldwide and local agents, plays a big part in running a logistics company. However, running such company always start from the people inside. So, building the right team with the right fusion between each other is what leads to positive results and continuity. JCtrans:Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country? Anthony Chehwan:The current situation for this industry is in a downfall for the moment, as the political situation is badly affecting the economic stability in Lebanon. Investors are cutting their cash flow. We are coping with this situation in a way that we are trying to maintain our stability. JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market? Anthony Chehwan:My initial strategy for exploring foreign market is through already existing public relations and connections. We have some foreign connections due to my experience in the field. Another way of exploring these markets is through internet and social media. For example, I surf LinkedIn for new foreign firms or even contact persons. JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business? Anthony Chehwan:We are already a GCP member. We chose to be a GCP member since we have first joined JC trans as an agent in Lebanon. We directly went with this choice so that we can win our JC Trans agents’ trust and support. As a GCP member, agents will choose to work with us over non-GCP members. This would make us more known to foreign agents as their best Lebanese agent that they can count on. JCtrans:How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients? Anthony Chehwan:Our clients are our main source of continuity. Neglecting their importance would lead to our termination. Therefore, I maintain a continued friendship with our clients through continuous meetings and gatherings throughout the month with all of our clients. After sales are always a main key for keeping a client loyal. We offer promotions, detailed updates, special care and interest in client’s business, being well informed about our client’s business and its cycle, etc.
