    JCtrans: Would you please make a brief introduction of your company?

    MIYESHA ALIFU: We have started our corporate journey with the aim of acting as a bridge between West and East in road transportation and custom brokerage in 1961. Over half a century, we have enriched our product range by closely following global trends and investing in technology.

    Now we are an expert in handling export & import sea shipments(FCL / LCL) Air shipment, Road Freight, Intermodal, Customs clearance, Warehousing, Biopharma Logistics.

    We have been in this business for years and have provided premium services to large amount of customers in different industries. Where we offer tailor made service to our valuable angents and clients.


    JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness? 
    MIYESHA ALIFU: TRANSORIENT is an IATA agent since 1995 and member of FIATA, UTIKAD (Association of International Forwarders and Service Providers of Turkey) and International Networks such as FFSI, CLN, PPL and PANGEA also have certificates for ISO9001, ISO10001 & ISO27001 and also on the verge of obtaining AEO certification. 
    We also provide unique service in Intermodal/Multimodal & Short-Sea Transportation Solutions for Europe, we have regular inbound-outbound traffic with self owned 5500 pieces 45’HCPW containers by Short-Sea and Intermodal options from/to Europe as an alternative against Road Freight with its competitive rates and nature friend way.

     

    JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

    MIYESHA ALIFU: A proper planning, resource mobilaztion, foresight, and taking pre-emptive actions by anticipating potential problems are the key ingredients of logistics.
    A logistician must bring every department in his/her organization and all partners like transporters, carriers, vendors under the same umbrella and must synchronize to make the process succesful.


    JCtrans: Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

    MIYESHA ALIFU: Freight and logistics market in Turkey is expected to grow during the forecasted period. The growth is a result of the country’s strategic location between Asia and Europe. The key growth drivers for the market include increasing online purchasing boosting the e-commerce market, the Middle Corridor Initiative by Turkey, increasing yearly investments by the government to improve the state of infrastructure in the country such as road & rail networks, and expansion of airports and seaports.


    JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?

    MIYESHA ALIFU: Conduct market analysis , identify the market and the product that we have to sell ,through platform ,trade shows and Networks like JC trans to test market for our product .

     

    JCtrans: What is the reason that makes you become a GCP member to develop your business?

    MIYESHA ALIFU: To explore new market and partners , extend our service to new foreign market .

     

    JCtrans: How do you maintain a long-term cooperation relationship with your clients?
